Diljit to go to the MET GALA?
Fans are excited by the rumours;
Diljit Dosanjh is all set to make his debut at MET GALA 2025, come May.
Rumours are rife that the Canada-based Punjabi singer and actor will be representing Google pixels at the event. Though his team is yet to confirm the news, it has been widely welcomed.
“Diljit is a true blue global star. He was the first Punjabi singer to perform at the Coachella music festival in 2024. He has put Punjabi music on the world map; his tours are sell-outs at all venues; and most importantly, he is recognised by international media. If not him, then who?” says a publicist.
The singer recently uploaded a reel on social media, doing the Bhangra dance with Hollywood star Will Smith. The collaboration followed the release of Smith’s album, Based on a True Story. A few months ago, Diljit had collaborated with Ed Sheeran on the latter’s tour to India.
“Diljit celebrates his roots. He attended the Jimmy Fallon show in his traditional garb of kurta and lungi. Can't wait to see what he wears at the Gala,” says a designer.
Meanwhile, Diljit’s Good News co-star Kiara Advani will also make her debut at the Gala this year.
