Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan's film ‘Lucky Bhaskar' reportedly garnered Rs 4 crore plus collections on day one in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. “It is quite a good start for non-Telugu heroes and Dulquer surely has a good following among Telugus,’ says a distributor. He claims the film is riding on positive reports and could find collections shooting up in the days to come. “The film has been released in more theaters to attract Diwali crowds and we think it will be pruned a bit. At a few places, it is screened in theatres close-by and collections are being shared among the two,” he adds.

After ‘Mahanati’ and ‘Sita Ramam,’ Dulquer is on hatrick in Tollywood and he would be hoping to score the record with ‘Lucky Bhaskar’. ‘The collections have to pick up drastically and the film is valued over Rs 15 crores and the target looks achievable considering good critical acclaim and word of mouth publicity and long weekend,’ he points out.
No doubt, it is Dulquer’s one man show all the way and it is the USP of the film and most of the credit would go to him. “After playing positive roles in previous Telugu films, Dulquer is seen in new avatar in his latest and surely hogs the limelight in this bank fraudsters theme,” he concludes.
