After impressing as a maverick cop in his latest Telugu film Saripodha Sanivaaram,' Tamil actor S J Suryah is planning to do hero-centric movies in Tollywood."His whacky performance in Saripodhaa....was one of the highlights in this action-adventure. He outwitted Nani in some scenes with his unique mannerisms and body language, " says a source. Now, Suryah seems to have realized that people are coming to watch his performances and he is thinking of turning a hero in Telugu movies. "He believes that he can carry a film on his broad shoulders and he understands Telugu audiences do patronize Tamil actors who are uniquely talented, " he adds.

He is in talks with a few Telugu producers who are willing to bet their money on a director-turned-actor. "He is banking on his command over the Telugu language and his unique voice modulations to grab viewers' attention. His fluency in Telugu and his body language will be his USP. He is looking for the right script to make his debut as a hero in Telugu movies. Just a matter of time, ' he points out.
S J Suryah became popular in Tollywood as a director and dished out movies like "Khushi' with Pawan Kalyan and "Naani" with Mahesh Babu. He played a baddy opposite Mahesh Babu in "Spyder". Now, he wants to don a hero's hat to give Telugu stars a run for their money.
