Young director Maruthi hinted about the ease of working with reigning star Prabhas in their next film ‘The Raja Saab' “My heartful smile reflects my work satisfaction," says the director without naming Prabhas, at an event and adds, “Even the content is shaping up well, and reflects my relief,’ he adds. However, he didn’t disclose much about one of the much-awaited films.
Maruthi has tasted big success with comic capers like ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ with Nani and ‘Mahanubhavudu with Sharwanand to carve a niche for himself in Tollywood. Yet again, the director is trying to explore the fun side of Prabhas, who is known for anger-driven roles. “It will be a multilayered role in this fun-filled entertainer and explores the lighter side of Prabhas who is known for his brooding anger and action episodes,” says a source. He claims that the ‘Bahubali’ actor wanted to work with young director Maruthi to go in for a makeover and do something different. “Prabhas was clear in his mind when he agreed to work with Maruthi because he wanted an image makeover and to connect with children and other sections too,” he adds.
‘The Raja Saab’ is being designed as a pan-India film. “People Media Factory is determined to mark their place worldwide with their prestigious project with reigning star Prabhas, so going all out,” he adds.
