Taylor Swift had claimed that Denver DJ David Muller had reached under her dress and grabbed her butt while posing backstage at a concert in 2013. The DJ then sued the singer for allegedly defaming him by making the claim, which lead to him being fired from his job. Soon, Taylor countersued Muller for sexual assault.

TMZ.com reports that now, years after the incident, the court has said that the one-year statute had run out by the time he had filed the case — in 2016. This is only a small victory for the Love Story singer, as the judge has ruled that the rest of the lawsuit filed by Miller against Taylor will move forward.
