Lady Gaga announces $1 million donation

On September 14, Gaga was hospitalised for severe pain and had to postpone the Europe leg of her tour.

Lady Gaga yet again proved that she’s one of the most generous stars in the business.

The 31-year-old singer took to Twitter on Saturday to announce she was making a $1 million donation to help relief efforts in the wake of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, José, Maria and the Mexico City earthquake, reports JustJared.com.

“While praying every day, I’m also donating $1Mil to relief efforts for Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, José, Maria and the Mexico City earthquake (sic),” she tweeted, adding a prayer hands emoji.  

Earlier the same day, she also took to Twitter to slam President Trump‘s “poor leadership” in the way he’s handling the hurricane that rocked Puerto Rico. 

“I this it’s clear where the ‘poor leadership’ lies @realDonaldTrump Puerto Rico is part of the United States. This is our responsibility (sic),” she tweeted.

Lady Gaga also shared a health update with her anxious fans on Saturday as she battles her chronic pain condition, reports DailyMail.com. She wrote, “What a killer article. Gettin’ stronger everyday for my #LittleMonsters can’t wait to get back on stage & be w u at JoanneWorldTour #PawsUp (sic).” On September 14, Gaga was hospitalised for severe pain and had to postpone the Europe leg of her tour. Gaga revealed she is dealing with the chronic illness Fibromyalgia which will be detailed in her upcoming documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two.
