Johnny Depp sues ex-wife Amber Heard
Heard's attorney, Eric M. George said, This frivolous action is just the latest of Johnny repeated efforts to silence Amber.''
Johnny Depp has accused his ex-wife Amber Heard of beginning a romantic relationship with Tesla founder Elon Musk “no later than one month after” she and Depp married in 2015. In court documents obtained by People.com, Depp is suing Heard for $50 million, claiming that Heard’s “false allegations” against him are “an elaborate hoax to generate positive publicity” for her and to “advance her career.” Depp also claimed that Heard received “late night” visits from billionaire businessman Musk at the L.A. penthouse Depp and Heard shared while Depp was out of the country.
Heard’s attorney, Eric M. George said in a statement, “This frivolous action is just the latest of Johnny Depp’s repeated efforts to silence Amber Heard. She will not be silenced. Mr. Depp’s actions prove he is unable to accept the truth of his ongoing abusive behaviour. But while he appears hell-bent on achieving self destruction (sic), we will prevail in defeating this groundless lawsuit and ending the continued vile harassment of my client by Mr. Depp and his legal team.”
Elon Musk’s representatives have not commented on the issue as yet.
