Backstreet Boys to get Vegas residency?

Boy band and heart-throbs of the ’90s Backstreet Boys have announced that they have just signed a deal to perform a trial-run of series of shows with Live Nation in Las Vegas, following similar moves by Celine Dion, Britney Spears and Mariah Carey.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, member Nick Carter said, “If it does really well, then I think that’ll open that door and then in future we’ll do it. So that’s definitely going to happen but we’re going to do a trial run first.” Kevin Richardson, another band member, added that they were also recording new material in the studio for a “brand new album”.
