Todrick Hall opens up about his friendship with Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s new best friend, Todrick Hall, is spilling beans about how he was nervous to talk to the pop-star about his sexuality, reports EOnline.com. The two make a surprising BFF-couple, as Taylor is notoriously private about her personal life as well as political stands, while Todrick as a YouTube personality is an out and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.
In a new interview with a news outlet, Todd said that this difference in personalities led to an awkward situation while talking to Taylor about his sexuality, referring to a 2018 Instagram post he had written. The post read, “I didn’t know where she stood on LGBTQ+ rights and I didn’t honestly know if I could explain to someone with blue eyes and blonde hair what it feels like to not only walk around our country, but her neighborhood specifically.”
He further told the outlet, “I was a little bit nervous to talk to you about my love life or whatever,” while again referring to the Insta post where he revealed Swift and her family “welcomed me into their home, life and family with open arms.”
