Troubled comedian Katt Williams, who was named in an assault case last year, has been ordered by a judge to pay the defendant $86,000, after Katt didn’t show up to his court hearing. TMZ.com reports that the stand-up comedian had never responded to the lawsuit, and the defendant, Paul Love, was awarded the money by a judge in the state of Georgia.

The lawsuit had come about when Katt attacked Paul, who was 10 weeks into recovery from a brain injury, getting him hospitalised again. Katt had alleged at the time that Love had called him the “N-word”, but failed to make his case in court.
