Scott Eastwood's tribute to Paul Walker

Scott Eastwood, who shared his excitement about being cast in the eighth instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise with a post on Instagram, wrote about his “close friend” Paul Walker and how he was a mentor to him.

“We surfed together, travelled together, and he was a huge role model and influencing figure in my life when I was younger,” the son of veteran Hollywood actor and director Clint Eastwood wrote. He also added, “He was an older brother to me. Paul — I am going to make you proud.”
