Whitney Cummings calls out her blackmailers
Whitney Cummings wins the round against ‘foolish dorks’ who try to extort her over a private picture.
Comedian Whitney Cummings revealed in a series of tweets that she was being blackmailed by some social media users, who’d obtained a screenshot from a previous Instagram Story that accidentally showed her nipple.
According to People, though Whitney deleted the video soon after, the users screen-grabbed it and threatened to release it if the star did not pay them money.
Instead, Whitney chose to share the photo herself and take control of the situation.
“Y’all can have my nipple, but not my time or money anymore (sic),” Whitney had said in one of her tweets. But while she lashed out at the ‘foolish dorks’ through a series of tweets for trying to blackmail her, she didn’t reveal the names of the users for the fear that they might be ‘dumb kids’. Her actions prompted many fans and comedians to share their own embarrassing photos, with the hashtag #IStandWithWhitney.
