Little Jacob Tremblay wins big
Jacob beat out fellow Canadian nominee Christopher Plummer.

Child actor Jacob Tremblay won the top honour at the Canadian Screen Awards on Sunday, winning Best Actor for his performance in the film Room, which was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards held a few weeks ago.
TheStar.com reported that Jacob hugged his parents and then went onstage, thanking the academy for awarding him with “this wonderful Candy”, and added, “I feel like I won real Canadian gold.”
Jacob beat out fellow Canadian nominee Christopher Plummer who he also mentioned in his thank you speech, saying, “Christopher, you’re a legend.”
