Kanye West’s next Yeezy clothing line may have been inspired by Shia LaBeouf, at least according to Shia himself.

Billboard.com reports that in his April 2018 Esquire cover story, the Transformers star revealed that Kanye West once asked “If he could have some of (LaBeouf’s) clothes for a pop-up shop.” LaBeouf obliged, especially after West “was a f**king sweetheart” to the actor’s mother backstage at a concert.

“It just felt fair. So I’m like, ‘Go for it, my guy. Take everything you want.’ And he did,” LaBeouf told the magazine. “He took all my f**king clothes.”

In his No More Parties in LA outtake, Kanye raps, “I wish I dressed as fresh as Shia LaBeouf.” Though the two have since lost touch, West was spotted sporting a very Shia-like cap last spring — and even if Kanye denies it, the piece was probably the one that once belonged to LaBeouf, who said, “The dude has a lot of my s**t.”

The most precious item the actor lost to Kanye definitely seems to be his Indiana Jones hat.
