Prince has a hospital scare

Singer Prince was rushed to a hospital in Illinois after making an emergency landing while on his flight from Atlanta after performing in the city.

A report on TMZ.com said that Prince had been suffering from the flu for a few weeks and had cancelled two earlier shows, but insisted on performing in Atlanta on Thursday. At 1 am on Friday his condition worsened and made an emergency landing.

Prince was then reportedly given medical treatment for about three hours, after which he was discharged and was able to get back onto his flight home.
