Carrie Fisher's cause of death revealed
There was a build up of fattie tissue in the walls of her arteries, and investigators found that Carrie had taken multiple drugs.
After almost six months after her death, the cause of Star Trek actress Carrie Fisher’s death has finally been revealed, following the results of the autopsy.
As reported by AP News, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office ruled that sleep apnea and atherosclerotic heart disease contributed to the death of the actress, but the exact cause could not be known.
There was a build up of fattie tissue in the walls of her arteries, and investigators found that Carrie had taken multiple drugs, but could not determine whether they contributed to her death or if they were the prescribed drugs that she had to take to treat her mental health condition. In the report, however, the manner of the actress’ death will be recorded as undetermined.
