Leonardo DiCaprio celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation at Jackson Park Ranch on Saturday. The event, co-hosted by Emerson Collective founder and president Laurene Powell, aimed to raise funds for various global environmental issues to address climate change.
Leo said, “When I founded LDF 20 years ago, I did so based on the simple idea that we could make a real difference by directly funding some of the most effective environmental projects — whether it be individuals, grassroots movements or major nonprofits, we wanted to focus on getting critical funding to those who could have the greatest impact.”
Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin performed at the event with a heartwarming rendition of My Heart Will Go On, from the classic movie, Titanic.
