Mumbai: Jack Huston is impressed with veteran actor Morgan Freeman, who he shares screen space with in Timur Bekmambetov’s biblical film ‘Ben-Hur’.
About his experiences of working with Freeman, Huston says, “He is unbelievable! The first day we worked together he had to do this monologue, but had not received that page in his script. So Timur gave it to him on the spot, Morgan stepped into his trailer with it and then came back out 10 minutes later and nailed it verbatim! I had one line afterwards, but I think I didn’t say anything in the end… Morgan Freeman is just a master. And he is always in a good mood and makes everyone around him feel well too, while at the same time bringing everything you can imagine and more to his part.”
‘Ben-Hur’ is the fifth film adaptation of Lew Wallace’s 1880 novel ‘Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ’, revolving around the character of Judah Ben-Hur, played by Jack Huston in the film. Freeman plays Judah’s friend Ilderim in the film.
Producer of the film Sean Daniel says, “Working with Morgan Freeman has been one of my dreams.”
Timur Bekmambetov also shares similar views, "Morgan Freeman and I worked together on 'Wanted', and I couldn’t wait to collaborate with him again.”
About his own experiences on the film, Freeman says, “I noticed that the director and producers laugh a lot. When there is a lot of laughing that means they are happy with what they are getting."
