Lena Dunham cancels her lenny IRL tour
The actress who was in severe pain revealed that her endometriosis has returned.
Writer and actress Lena Dunham who was all geared up to appear on the Lenny IRL tour had to suddenly cancel it due to a serious health scare, reported DailyMail.co.uk.
On Saturday, the writer and star of the TV series Girls, took to Facebook to post about how her endometriosis returned and left her in the “greatest amount of physical pain”.
The post read, “I have been so excited to see you all on our Lenny IRL tour. During these dark political days, this has been a ray of sunshine for me. My body, which I’ve worked through all kinds of pain for many years, just doesn’t have what it takes to do this tour.”
Just last month Lena opened up about how she was cured from endometriosis, but also said that the disease was unrelenting and could return back.
Because her show stands cancelled, Lena said that all her fans would be refunded and since a part of the proceeds was supposed to go to various organisations that helps young women, Lena has vowed to donate the money personally.
