Feared for my safety: Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp’s year has been constantly in legal soup . The actor has been dealing with different assault cases, be it with ex-wife Amber Heard or the latest case of him allegedly assaulting a crew member on the set of City of Lies. 

But according to People.com, Depp has claimed that the assault was in fact self-defense because of provocation from the accuser. Depp also claimed that he feared for his safety and mentioned how the director of the movie was in a similar situation with the accuser.
