Ghostbusters star Henry J Deutschendorf II commits suicide
Henry J. Deutschendorf II has committed suicide by hanging himself, reports TMZ.com.
Henry ‘Hank’ Deutschendorf, one of the twins who played baby Oscar in the 1989 film Ghostbusters II, has committed suicide by hanging himself, reports TMZ.com. The unfortunate incident took place on June 14, and Hank’s twin brother, William, found the body in Hank’s apartment. By the time Willaim cut him down and called the ambulance, it was too late.
The brother informs that Hank suffered from a schizoaffective disorder — a combination of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, since a very long time. He experienced hallucinations, delusions, depression, and mania and “fought for his life every day,” William said.
The twins ran a martial arts school in San Diego, and Hank featured in a documentary Cleanin’ Up the Town: Remembering Ghostbusters in 2016, appearing as himself.
