Allu Arjun, the dashing Pushpa hero never fails to amaze us with his elegant roles and versatility.

Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones opened new doors for adventure films. Making way to the blockbuster Hollywood franchises like Tomb Raider, Jumanji, and Unchartered; it became a torchbearer to the world full of mysteries, relics, and artifacts to be unearthed. Raiders of the lost ark inspired storytellers across the globe to create a world full of larger-than-life scaled adventures originating from different countries and ethnicities altogether. While we await Indy’s final adventure in Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny, here are the South stars who would helm the iconic brown hats with their fan-favorite avatars.

Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun, the dashing Pushpa hero never fails to amaze us with his elegant roles and versatility. Quickly adapting to demanding roles has enabled his pan-India success within the action genre. Allu Arjun would not just swiftly jump into Indiana’s shoes but can also give a homegrown face to A Tamil/ Telugu spin-off for the Indian adaptation.

Thalapathy Vijay

Vijay - A charming star, on top of his game, holds recognition across genres in the Tamil film industry. His signature performances in Beast, Master, and Aathi, have established him as the beloved action hero. Now imagine how cool it would be to see Thalapathy don the suit, boots, and hat to break a neck on a dance step as a 20-year-old Indiana Jones, with a romantic twist!

Ram Charan

The RRR superstar is acclaimed globally for his sensational performance and ‘dumdaar’ action. Shifting from a disciplined cop to an adventurer, Ram Charan’s journey transitioning into a heroic archaeologist would be a treat to the eyes. Along with bringing the swift action moves to the screens, it would be quite an experience of him to don the archaeological hat and conquer expeditions that take a little more than just courage and honor.

Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu is all set to star in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming title SSMB29, which is an Indian adventure film, heavily inspired by Indiana Jones relying on detective elements. While we know he is already preparing to bring the guns, arrows, and coolest spy tactics to the big screen, we can’t wait but anticipate the closest version of Indian Indy to the screens!

Yash

Rocking star Yash has already delivered the blockbuster KGF telling a story of archaeological pursuits conquering all the gold one could possibly think of. If Yash would star in an Indiana Jones film, he would play a deadly, lethal monster. A version of Indy who would go all guns and roses on the riskiest of adventures to uncover what lies beneath. Along with the sass he is the only actor who can give Indiana’s classic outfit a colourful makeover!

These superstars of the south are the ones we believe would break the barriers transitioning into a fearless, whip-cracking explorer, delivering us tales unleashing their inner Indiana Jones.

Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny will release in theatres across India starting 29th June 2023 onwards, in Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu
