Avril Lavigne accuses Mark Zuckerberg of bullying
Lavigne was not impressed by the joke and wrote an open letter.
Singer Avril Lavigne might have split from her husband Chad Kroeger’s but she still stands by him and even showed some support when Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg took a jab at Chad’s band Nickelback, as he debuted his digital butler Jarvis, reported Dailymail.co.uk.
In the ad that Zuckerberg uploaded he is heard asking Jarvis, to ‘play some good Nickelback songs’, to which the device replied, “I’m sorry Mark, I’m afraid I can’t do that, there are no good Nickelback songs.”
Lavigne was not impressed by the joke and wrote an open letter. “Dear Mark, many people use your products — some love them and some people don’t. Either way, you’re allowed your musical opinion. However, your jab at Nickelback is in poor taste. When you have a voice like yours, you may want to consider being more responsible with promoting bullying, especially given what’s going on in the world today.”
