Salahudin Moultaali, who was accused of stalking singer and actress Mandy Moore and subsequently arrested three times in two weeks for showing up at her doorstep, has been sent for mental evaluation.
The 42-year-old stalker was arrested last Friday, and now three charges have been filed against him — trespassing, stalking and violating a restraining order.
According to TMZ.com, Mandy had also said that Salahudin had left notes in which he claimed to be god, Satan and the Devil and demanded to speak with her.
The Los Angeles District Attorney had rejected an earlier case against the stalker last Wednesday, citing a “lack of evidence”. If convicted, Salahudin could face up to two-and-a-half years in jail.
