Actress Renée Zellweger has refused to comment on the “changed appearance” she debuted in 2014 on the red carpet, saying that she’s “not aware” of the criticism she’s been facing because of it.

Answering questions about the comments that have been made about her on social media, Renée said in an interview on

Today, “It’s not really part of my life. It’s part of the job, that I don’t really experience except when I step into this arena. In my home I’m not aware of it. I don’t do any kind of social media, so I don’t see it. I like to have... I guess you would call them, real experiences.”

Renée’s transformation had raised eyebrows, with people speculating that her new look was because of plastic surgery gone wrong.
