Popular producer C.V. Kumar couldn’t have hoped for a better start as his maiden directorial venture Mayavan now has a big new addition — popular Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff will play the role of an antagonist in the movie.
The veteran has so far acted in two straight Tamil films — as a gangster in the critically acclaimed Aaranya Kaandam, which won him accolades, and the other with Superstar Rajinikanth in Kochadaiyaan.

The movie, which is touted to be a sci-fi thriller, stars Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles. Another interesting aspect about the movie is that director Nalan Kumarasamy himself has penned the screenplay and dialogues for Mayavan, while Ghibran is composing the music.

Further, Gopi Amarnath takes care of the cinematography and Leo John Paul is in charge of the cuts. Meanwhile. Jackie Shroff is expected to start shooting for the film on April 4.
