It looks like Rajinikanth, who is gearing up to launch his party, has started getting vocal on many issues. In his latest rant on the TN government, the Superstar slammed it for being a silent spectator when the people of Thoothukudi have been protesting against the Sterlite factory.

In his message he said, "The people are affected by various diseases due to the Sterlite factories and are suffering more by protesting for 47 days.  It is perplexing that the government that gave permission for setting up the factories remains a silent spectator without taking any action at all." Rajini had also taken on the Central government on the Cauvery issue recently.
