Delayed for long and mired in controversy, Ghazali's medical thriller is finally to see the light of day. The movie, rechristened as Manushanaa Nee, had garnered attention due to its title and the director says the story exposes the malpractices in the medical field.

Sources reveal the movie is about an illegal group testing a new drug on human beings which chooses India as a favoured destination since as a nation we are vulnerable to enticements due to a huge population and corruption.

Ghazhali, a businessman in Dubai who came to tinsel town because of his passion for cinema, says, “Since I produced and directed the film, I went through several hardships. I have joined hands with H3 Cinemas to help small films which are lying in cans for long awaiting their release.” Dr Saleem, Anu Krishna and Manisha Kaur, a model from Malaysia, play lead roles.
