Sivaranjiniyumreceives accolades at Pune international film festival

Of late, Tamil films have been shining in international festivals where they are being lapped up by global audiences. After Pariyerum Perumal, Peranbu and Sarvam Thaala Mayam,ace filmmaker Vasanth Sai’s film Sivaranjiniyum Innum Sila Pengalum has been getting accolades at various fests, including the Mumbai, Kerala, Sweden the recent Pune international film festival where it drew a huge response.
An anthology, SISP has three female-centric short stories penned by writers Jayamohan, Adhavan and Ashoka Mithran. It stars Parvathy, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli and Kalieswari Srinivasan as lead characters. Karunakaran, Sundar, Karthik Krishna and Marimuthu are in the supporting cast. National award winner Ekambaram and Ravi Shankarancrank the camera. The specialty of the film is that it has no BGM, but features sounds designed by Anand Krishnamoorthy.
