Shruti not doing special number in INA

There were rumours that Shruti Haasan would perform an item number in the Simbu-Nayanthara starrer Idhu Namma Aalu, directed by Pandiraj. A few reports also suggested that the filmmakers had approached the Puli actress after the film’s lead Nayanthara could not do the special number!

Shruti’s spokesperson has now clarified that the actress was approached to croon a number in the film, and that she sang a song last year; but, she would not feature in it herself.  In Tamil, Shruti currently has Suriya’s S3 in her kitty. Meanwhile, the audio of Idhu Namma Aalu is comign out today, along with Simbu’s birthday celebration — let’s see how it goes!
