Hansika forays into Mollywood

With positive reviews pouring in for her cute performance in Bogan, Hansika is on cloud nine. With back to back releases in Tamil and Telugu (Luckunnodu with Vishnu Manchu), the pretty actress has started the year on a high note. Having gained a strong foothold in Tamil and Telugu, she will now be venturing into Malayalam film industry.

Hansika has been roped in for a special performance in award winning director B. Unnikrishnan’s upcoming film with Mohanlal, Manju Warrier and Vishal. A source close to the actress says, “It will be a cameo and she is paired opposite Vishal in the movie. Currently, she has three to four projects in hand and she will allocate dates for her role accordingly.” It is said that Vishal will be essaying the role of an antagonist in the film. It was earlier rumoured that Nithya Menen was initially considered for Hansika’s role. The Bogan actress is fond of Malayalam film industry. “She has great respect for the industry and is eagerly looking forward to share screen space with Mohanlal,” the source adds.
