Sivakumar and his family always extend their hands for educational causes. Now, having relocated to their new home that the family had constructed recently, Sivakumar has offered his old house at T.Nagar to Agaram foundation.

The actor is extremely attached to this house, as it was the first property he had bought out of his earnings after becoming an actor.

He is sentimental about the house where his children — Suriya, Karthi and Brindha were born, later got married and where his grandchildren were also born. He says he considers it a temple.

The actor tells us, “Though I am deeply attached to my house, I am also happy it is going for a cause.  Also, we have always been a joint family and we will continue to be in our new house.”

Agaram is an extension of Sivakumar Educational and Charitable Trust, which was started  in 1979.
