Nagendra Prasad turns anti-hero
My character appears as an anti-hero in the film, and an element of suspense is revealed towards the end, Prasad discloses.
Despite his good looks and acting abilities, Prabhu Deva’s younger brother Nagendra Prasad is yet to get a proper break as an actor. He was last seen in Bogan alongside of Jayam Ravi as a cop. It looks like finally things are moving in the right direction. The actor/dancer has been roped in to play as one of the leads in in the upcoming flick Koothan, which revolves around dance.
Speaking about the film, he says, “It is an interesting character and revolves around my favourite subject — dance. I play Krishna, a dancer who is well-versed in classical and western dance forms. I know director Venky since he was doing dance shows on television. The film also has a good mix of romance, comedy, drama and emotions.”

Debutant Rajkumar plays another lead. The supporting cast includes Urvashi, Bhagyaraj, Manobala, Kavithalaya Krishnan and Sriranjini among others.
