Inigo Prabhakaran turns hero
The movie directed by debutant Fareed has Inigo and newcomer Shiney in the lead.
Inigo Prabhakaran, who was noticed in films like Azhagar Samiyin Kuthirai, Sundara Pandian and the recent Chennai 600028, finally turns full-fledged hero with Veeraiyan. The movie directed by debutant Fareed has Inigo and newcomer Shiney in the lead. Also, transgender Preethisha has been roped in for a crucial role. At the recent promo meet of the movie, filmmakers like Seenu Ramasamy, Sarkunam, SR Prabhakaran among others were hailing the producer (who also doubles as director) and Inigo Prabhakaran.
Seenu Ramasamy said, “More films like Veeraiyan which acts as a platform for fresh talents should be made. We should welcome such producers. I am here only for Inigo’s sake. He is a bundle of talent and equal to all the top heroes of today. I wish I could use him in my forthcoming movies.”
SR Prabhakaran said, “Inigo used to say that Sundara Pandian gave him an identity. But hereafter, he would be called Veeraiyan Inigo Prabhakaran.”
The young actor revealed that he missed out three big chances to act in award-winning filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy’s direction. “I was called for Thenmerkku Paruva Kaattru when I was busy with Azhagar Samyin Kuthirai (which had Vijay Sethupathi in the lead) and other movies like Neer Paravai (which Vishnu Vishal bagged) and also Idam Poru Eval due to other reasons.” He hopes Veeraiyan would give him a much needed break in the industry.
