Jeevan’s back with a bang, signs horror film
Vadivudayan directs the film, which has five different heroines from respective languages as the female leads.
Villain turned hero Jeevan of Thiruttu Payale and Naan Avanillai sequels fame who was on a sabbatical is back with a bang. The lanky actor has been roped in for a horror thriller titled Pambattam in Tamil, which has been made in five languages including Hindi.
Vadivudayan directs the film, which has five different heroines from respective languages as the female leads. Speaking to DC, Vadivudayan says, “I have made the screenplay in such a manner that it will be a hardcore horror film. The story has a pan Indian appeal and will go with all types of audiences. That’s why, I am filming it in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.”
On roping in Jeevan, he quips, “This is Jeevan’s first horror film and I felt that would give a fresh appeal. When I narrated the entire script, he was highly impressed and gave his nod. I am planning to pitch in popular faces from each language as his pair. The film will be shot in Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
Heavy graphics work is involved in the film and talks are on with a top CG company to ensure quality product.”
Produced by V.Palanivel, the film has dialogues by Pa Raghavan and music by Amrish.
