Kabali audio to be unveiled on June 12

Though speculation ran high for the audio launch date of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali, producer Kalaipuli Thanu took to Twitter to officially confirm that the event would take place on June 12.

Rajinikanth, who is holidaying in the US, along with his family, is expected to return to the city by then.
Meanwhile, the buzz is that the Ranjith-directed film, will hit the marquee in about 5,000 screens across the world on July 1. The flick is simultaneously being released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. Since the movie has been shot extensively in Malaysia, it will be dubbed in the Malay language and be released there with a deferred date.
We also hear that many distributors are vying for the rights of the much-anticipated film and a close source tells us that Karnataka theatrical rights of Kabali was bought for a record price by an ace distributor.
In the meantime, we also hear that Sivakarthikeyan, who is enjoying a good run in Tamil cinema, has moved his single-track release from his much awaited flick Remo, from June 9 to June third week. The reason being that, he never wanted to clash with Rajinikanth!
