There’s no stopping Siva Karthikeyan’s Remo! Despite the mixed reviews, the romantic drama, which had Keerthy Suresh in the lead, turned out to be a huge commercial success in Kollywood. Now, it is official that the film is set to be remade in Hindi. Director of the rom-com, Bakkiyaraj Kannan, confirms the same.

“Yes. It is true that the production unit is planning for a Hindi version of Remo. The cast and crew of the film will be decided in coming days. They haven’t zeroed in on any actors yet.” he reveals.

When asked if he will helm the Bollywood film, Bakkiyaraj says, “The decision for the remake was only made yesterday and it is too early to comment on other details of the film. It will take some time for the film to go on floors and I also have some other commitments here in Tamil. So, it is not clear if I will direct the Hindi version of Remo,” adding, “In two months, more information about the film will be out.”
