Shrish took 19 takes for a kiss!

Shirish, who made a mark with his very first film, Metro, is busy with yet another murder mystery interestingly titled, Raja Ranguski. Directed by Dharanitharan of Burma fame, the film has Chandini Tamilarasan as the female lead. So far, 50 per cent of the shoot has been completed according to the director.

Recently, Dharanitharan canned a crucial scene involving the lead pair kissing. Though Shirish was quick to grasp the settings and completed all the other scenes in a rapid pace, the  shot with them kissing it seems was not that easy!

Says a unit hand who was present at the sets, “He looked very nervous and took 19 takes to kiss Chandini and finally okayed the shot.”  The director, though, has his own words to add. “I fear he did it purposely!” he says with a chuckle.
