SJ Suryah joins the shoot of Vijay 61

We had reported that the shooting of Vijay’s 61st film, directed by Atlee is progressing at a swift pace in the massive 80s sets erected by art director Muthuraj. Actor Vijay, who is tipped to be essaying triple roles in this yet-to-be-titled film, resumed shooting for the movie alongside Nithya Menen, who plays his pair.
Actor SJ Suryah, who is playing the antagonist in AR Murugadoss and Mahesh Babu’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual, has joined the sets of Vijay 61 in the outskirts of Chennai. A reliable source tells us, “Apart from SJ Suryah, actor Kamaraj who essayed the role of bodybuilder in Shankar’s I is also part of this schedule. This schedule will go on till the end of March.”
The source also adds that the third schedule will also be in Chennai. “After wrapping up the major portions in Chennai, we are planning to abroad to finish the rest of the film. We haven’t finalised our foreign locations yet. Samantha and Kajal will be taking part in the shoot in mid-April,” the source reveals. According to reports, Vijay will be seen heading a village in Madurai which is why the director opted for a twirled moustache look.
