Vikram Kumar receives award for Ishq after 5 years

Director Vikram Kumar’s Telugu film Ishq was lauded by critics and audiences when it was released in 2012. However, due to the then-volatile political situation in the state of Andhra Pradesh, the state’s Nandi Awards were cancelled for the years 2012 and 2013.

However, the state has now announced the awards, and Vikram Kumar has bagged the award for the blockbuster film. Vikram says, “When your movie is remembered after five years of its release, it is a great feeling. And when it wins an award under the category of the best family entertainer, what else can you ask for?”
