A movie that has only one character in the cast

Following many experimental genres in K’town, here comes Kargil, which has only one character playing in the 2-hour script and said to be first of its kind.

Though the title reminds us of the 1999 war, the movie has nothing to do with it. The story is about war of words and conflicts that occur between the lead protagonists played by Jishnu and his lover while the former travels in his car from Chennai to Bengaluru. Shivani Senthil directs the movie.

When they claim there is only one character seen on the screen, then who is his lady love, we ask. Shivani says, “That’s the twist in the story. The film imparts a message that trust is utmost important when a couple is in relationship. I have made it a fun filled family entertainer. We are happy that the Censors had given clean ‘U’ Certificate besides appreciating the movie”.
