Vaiyapuri in Kalakalappu 2

After his long stint in the Bigg Boss show, Vaiyapuri has resumed his work as an actor. He is now part of Kalakalappu 2 and the inauguration ceremony for the film took place recently. The film is all set to go on floors soon. 

Talking to DC, a composed Vaiyapuri says, “After 19 years, Sundar C sir and I are working together. Last time, I acted in his film Unnai Thedi… Ajith sir’s film. In this film, I am doing a full-fledged comedy role. Of course, I am excited about it. We are going to Karaikudi for the shoot.”

Sundar C and Vaiyapuri have already spoken at length about his participation in Bigg Boss — “He was telling me that I was his favourite contestant on the show. He shared with me how the experience was to watch the show, and his favourite parts.”

It was not just Sundar C even actor Prabhu has called him to congratulate. “Prabhu anna called from his house and said his whole family liked the show and appreciated me. He then added that I now have huge responsibility and reputation to maintain,” Vaiyapuri beams. 

Being in the house has changed him in a lot ways, he says. “I am now more sympathetic and composed. I have learned to appreciate people now, which was not the case before.”

On top of it all, the actor is also in talks with a project directed by Mysskin. He says, “I haven’t spoken to Mysskin sir, but I have been approached.”
