Music director K makes his Telugu-Hindi debut
The Aarohanam composer believes that this movie would give him a wider platform.
Music director K stepped into the industry with Mysskin’s Yuddham Sei and carved a special place for himself. He is now excited about making his debut in Telugu and Hindi with The Ghazi Attack starring Rana Daggubati and Taapsee. The film is being dubbed in Tamil as Madai Thirandhu.
Speaking to DC, K says, “I worked with editor Sreekar Prasad in Pizza (Hindi version) and he was the one who recommended me for Ghazi. I am excited to be part of this film as it is India’s first-ever ‘submarine war’ film. My work is challenging as there are no songs in the movie. Also, this period film set in the 1970s is dependent on heavy background music. We have incorporated orchestral and electronic music. “
The Aarohanam composer believes that this movie would give him a wider platform. “With Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions coming on board to distribute the movie, I am sure it will be promoted rigorously,” he hopes.
He is extremely satisfied with the reception that Aandavan Kattalai and Ammani received. “Usually, I don’t really dwell upon the films that don’t do well. I had put so much effort in these two projects and I have reaped benefits from them,” he concludes.
