Producer comes to Jai's support
However, Badri Kasthuri, one of the producers of Jai's upcoming flick Jarugandi, has come to the actor's support.
Actor Jai is in the news once again! This time around, Nandakumar and Arun Balaji, who are the makers of Balloon which released last week, have complained at Tamil Film Producers Council alleging that the actor was quite unprofessional and had failed to attend shoots many times, resulting in a delay of more than a year.
The horror thriller Balloon featuring Jai (in a dual role), Anjali, and Janani Iyer, is still running in the theatres, but the producers seemed not too happy with the delay In a press note they stated that the additional loss of Rs.1.5 crores by way of production cost was all due to actor Jai. Now, they want Jai to compensate, otherwise they would be requesting TFPC to ban him from signing future films.
However, Badri Kasthuri, one of the producers of Jai's upcoming flick Jarugandi, has come to the actor's support. He posted on his social media handle as follows. "Dear @Actor_Jai congrats on the success of Balloon. Reading the speculations in Balloon I find it very weird and I haven't seen any delay or unprofessional approach in the journey of making Jarugandi Things will fall in place. My best wish to you".
