Sai Pallavi bags Tollywood project opposite Varun Tej

Director Sekhar Kammula is coming up with yet another love story after a two-year hiatus. Titled Fida, the film is being shot in Bansuvada in Nizambad. This love story is of a Telangana girl and a boy from the US, and is marking the Telugu debut of Premam-fame Sai Pallavi as the heroine opposite Varun Tej.
“Sekhar narrated a good love story and I immediately accepted the movie. We will shoot for nearly 40 days in Bansuvada and then, we will move to the US,” says producer Dil Raju.
Sekhar’s third romantic movie after Anand and Godavari, Fida is touted to be fresh and youthful. Varun, who was busy shooting for a film with Srinu Vaitla, didn’t attend the first day’s shoot.
