Sarah George, the publicist/model turned actor with the film Taramani, which is all set the release after a long wait. Though Sarah has been awaiting the release of the film for about three years, she says that it’s worth it.

“I come as friend to the lead character Andrea. We both work in an IT industry in the film — so, we are co-workers. My character’s name is Meera.”

Sarah gets excited while talking about her director Ram, “It is the best experience I have got so far. In future, if he asks me to act in a movie I will run for it even without listening to the script. That’s the kind of awe and respect I have for him. He treats everyone in the sets the same way. From the light man to the actors, everyone gets the same treatment in his film.”

“The film is for all the youngsters. It depicts the modern day relationship and how the notion of love has changed in this age. Every adult should watch this film,” she beams.

About her other projects, she says, “I have worked in a project called Indha Nilai Marum directed by Arun Kanth. In addition to that I have signed in for a production venture of Shibu ThameenS, which is a Malayalam film titled Rosa Poo. It is a character role but, a significant one, I would say.”

Sarah says, “Over the course, my roles in the films are becoming bigger and important and that’s a good sign. I go with the flow, without taking too much of a pressure. If I am able to do roles that stay with the audience, that is success for me.”

Sarah would have been part of Bigg Boss Tamil. However, she let the chance pass for the Malayalam film since she had given her word to the makers by then.
