Naan Seidha Kurumbu (NSK), featuring Chandran and M-town actress Anju Kurien as the lead pair, is a rom-com with a hint of suspense. The recently-released first-look posters, which show a pregnant Chandran going into labour, suggest an unusual premise that has caused many an eyebrow to be raised.

The film’s name is inspired by a line in a famous song from Rajinikanth’s 1982 film Moondru Mugam. And it marks popular stand-up comedian Mahavishnu’s debut as a director.

To match NSK’s unique story, the makers have employed a unique promotional strategy. They recently organised a baby shower for five pregnant women!

Speaking at the event, Chandran said, “After the release of the first look, there have been a lot of mixed reactions on social media. Many feel that it will be an unconventional film. And I can vouch for the fact that it will be a fun-filled family entertainer. It talks about what will happen if men have to go through the same challenges as women.”
