Ashok Selvan plunges into the sea!
The actor is also part of Nirman's romantic comedy film, which has new comer Avantika Mishra as the female lead.
Ashok Selvan, who is awaiting the release of Kootathil Oruthan, is now busy shooting for two exciting projects. The Thegidi actor is excited about his upcoming crime-thriller with Metro director Anandakrishnan. Recently, he also signed debutant director Nirman’s rom-com produced by Friends Festival Films.
Speaking to DC, Ashok says, “I am really kicked about my project with Anandakrishnan. Recently, we shot a sequence in Puducherry where I was required to swim in the sea. During my childhood, I learnt swimming by jumping into the well in my native place. I was nervous when I was asked to jump into the sea, though. Somehow, I took the plunge and completed the scene. It was difficult and interesting as well.”
The first schedule of the film is underway and the team is close to finalising the heroine and villain before the second schedule commences. “This is the first time I am doing an action flick, and I think this will give me the much-needed break. Also, this is the first time I am collaborating with Sri Thenandal Films, which is releasing this venture,” he shares on a confident tone.
The actor is also part of Nirman’s romantic comedy film, which has new comer Avantika Mishra as the female lead. “This is a full-length comedy flick, where I essay the role of an assistant director. I am teaming up with composer Nivas Prasanna for the third time. So, I am confident this will definitely be a musical hit. MS Bhaskar and Urvashi play supporting roles in this film, which will be shot in Chennai,” concludes Ashok.
