Aditi Menon on a roll
Intense filmmaker ace Ameer roped her in a few months ago for his rural period movie Sandhanadevan, starring Arya and Sathya.
Aditi Menon, who started working on the Pattadhari film after having been mired in controversy with her previous film's director, is finally on a roll. Intense filmmaker ace Ameer roped her in a few months ago for his rural period movie Sandhanadevan, starring Arya and Sathya. Now, the actress will be seen opposite Dinesh in a rustic comedy titled Kalavani Maapillai directed by Gandhi Manivasagam.
Gandhi is the son of late director/producer Manivasagam who set a trend in combining humour with rural content. “I am also following the tried and tested formula of my dad of making a comedy-commercial movie. The heroine's role is equally important and I was looking for someone who would perform well. After auditioning many, I finally roped in Aditi who fitted the bill,” says Gandhi.
The film has Anandaraj, who is rocking as comic villain of late, Devayani, Renuka , Manobala and 'Mottai' Rajhendran in the supporting cast. Award winning composer Raghunandhan does the music.
