Sana, who has acted in more than 500 films in all south languages, is making her foray into television with a mega soap on a Tamil satellite channel. Sana who impressed everyone with her highly negative character of a politician in Vikram's Rajapaattai talks about her new avatar.

“After Rajapaattai, I did films like Vajram and Enakku Veru engum Kilaigal Kidayaadhu sharing screen space with Gaundamani sir. Though, I was getting several offers in Tamil, they were sort of repetitive and I didn't want to be typecast,” Sana tells DC.

She says she is game for any kind of roles, be it strong supporting characters, (female) villain roles or even comedy. “I was listening to scripts when this mega soap on a prime channel came up. I was floored when the script was narrated. I essay a mother who is the central character in the serial. It's a strong and power packed role. How she sets an example to others while guiding the family members in right direction, how to handle crisis forms and how she sacrifices for the family are all dealt with. It’s a solid role and I am sure I would be reaching the members of entire family with this soulful role.”
